As of January of 2010, Continued Educational Requirements will be changing.  We value your Alumni membership and hope that you will continue your learning with us.  Being a member of the alumni allows you to continue your learning with us into our advanced level programs, as well as guarantee you your DAEP discount on products.

The New Alumni Program is listed below:

1)       As a DAEP, you are still required to complete 40 hours of CPD learning with us at our 5 day workshops per year.  These courses are taught by KC La Pierre.  The NEW workshop format is going to created directed study programs for the DAEP, as well as the students at the courses.  We feel this new focus is going to create a better learning environment for the already graduated Applied Equine Podiatrist.

2)      There is a NEW CPD form that is now required to be filled out and sent in to our office in order to accept your CPD assignment per course.    This form will require you to update your contact information, as well as commit to the course you wish to take. 

3)      There will be an administration fee for all CPD courses. Course cost per DAEP is $150.00 per course, and must be paid before the start of the course date.  You may take as many courses per year as you wish at that cost.  There is payment information on your CPD Form that will allow you to choose your payment options. Your CC will only be charged at course time, (30 days prior) unless otherwise specified.

4)      You must choose your CPD assignment now for the coming year.  As we are developing new programs and the number of DAEP’s is steadily increasing, we need to have your assignment per course for the year as space is going to become limited.  So please, fill out the form today.  Our fax # is 352-498-0231 or please scan and email back to us. baremysole@yahoo.com.  You will not be considered alumni members without a course assignment for 2010.

5)      If you are enrolled and attending in either the instructor program or the FT second level program, you will not be required to attend a five day course for CPD.  Your advanced level program will fill that requirement.  (Note:  Academic Online for second level does not apply.  You will still need to take the five day course for practical study.)

6)      If you are in the advanced level programs, and still wish to take a 5-day course as well, please let me know, as your attendance at one course will be FREE for that calendar year.  Simply fill out the CPD form and in the payment option, write Second level or Instructor Program.
