Old Town is about an hour from Gainesville and Ocala, and around two hours to Tallahassee and Jacksonville. Conveniently located in the quiet countryside, the site is within 10 miles of Chiefland or Cross City, which offer a Walmart, restaurants and other basic amenities. IAEP students can choose to reside in our dorm-style rooms and enjoy breakfast and two snacks a day, or they can stay in one of the local motels.
The new classroom is conducive to learning and hands-on instruction is performed at the facility's headquarters. We can house up to 10 students in the spacious dorms with one private room available. There are separate accommodations for males and females, and each dorm room has its own mini fridge and bathroom. (right: Comet sunbathes out front)
Permanent residents on site include KC and Robyn's four dogs: Long hair Chihuahuas Ruby and Nabu; Retired and Rescued Greyhounds Comet and Beta; and the five equines: Monet, gray thoroughbred mare; Casey (Magoo), thoroughbred gelding; Mateo, Paso Fino Gelding; Marcus, Paso Fino gelding; and Romeo, Dutch Warmblood gelding.
We welcome our students and look forward to seeing you at our next course in Old Town, Florida! Please browse the pictures on this page for a glimpse of the new facilities and four-legged friends. Click images for a larger view.
